Face To Face No. 83 is out!

The hot summer is finally ending! Hopefully the weather has cooled enough for you to enjoy the remaining festivals and all the fun things Yamagata has to offer!

In this issue, we had a wild two hour journey with the "Country Experience" in Tozawa Village!

In International Insights, Marcus Takeshi Helm writes about finding his community through bouldering in Yamagata.

Lastly, the Counselling Corner gives information extensions for Permanent Resident/Highly Skilled Professional (ii) Residence Cards and there is a recruitment from AIRY about Japanese classes!

You can download the current issue by clicking on the image on the left or find past issues of our newsletter here!

We publish Face to Face three times a year. Each newsletter includes an exploration of a specific part of Yamagata, various voices and opinions from other foreigners living in Yamagata, as well as some tips and advice from our counselling corner.

We're always looking for writers for our International Insights section so feel free to contact us if you're interested!
